My Story

My name is James I created this site so that I could share with others how a plant based diet can transform your life.

I will write up a longer version of a testimonial but I’m keeping this short.

For many years I was a heavy drinker often 15+ beers every evening. I smoked 2 to 3 packs of cigarettes a day and weighed in at 275lbs at my highest. I struggled to get up the stairs or do much of anything to be honest.

I decided to low carb the weight off after I quit drinking and quit smoking. I also took up running. The low carb diet left me with high cholesterol (366 to be exact) and lacking energy to fuel my running. I went vegan and my running took off. I run 50 to 70 miles a week now. I eat 40-80lbs of bananas per week and my cholesterol 165 last I had it checked after only being vegan for 90 days.

I’ve since been vegan for many years now and would like to inspire others to embark on their own vegan and fitness journey as well gain knowledge from other vegans in the community of what works what doesn’t etc.
